So what else is new, right?
One thing I love about the Austin-San Antonio Corridor area....there is always a race every weekend, within a 100 mile radius...and that is all year long, even during the Christmas holidays. Apparently not Easter Sunday, though..
My April races... . Apr 1 - Confetti 5K at OLLU Apr 2 - Alamo Runfest 5K Apr 8 - Luckenback 5K Apr 9 - ? Apr 15 - Lockhart Stampede 5K Apr 16 - Easter. No races on Easter? Apr 22 - Fiesta Especial 5K in Windcrest Apr 23 - Fiesta Mission 5K Apr 28 - Carnival of Venice 5K (night time race) Apr 29 a.m. - Crawdaddy 5K Dash - - I don't even like crawfish, but this one starts late, so that is nice after the Carnival of Venice 5K night-time run, lets me sleep in a bit before the race, plus I've done this one before..nice course and I know they have beer after too, so hair of the dog after the 'Venice' party... Apr 29 - Fiesta Fandango (night time race) Apr 30 - Funday Sunday 5K - Small but very friendly and nice event at Shavano Park. Nice course too.
