According to Garmin, I ran the first half mile of my run at over 4,700' of altitude, then went off a cliff and did the other 4½ miles at around 200' above sea level. That's a new one for me.
That's crazy. I've never had it glitch that much. It told me the Salisbury HM was around 300 feet, it's barely above sea level. My old garmin would freak at the same point early in the Baltimore HM and go from 0 to 600 and back.
Are we there, yet?

I've encountered that. Sorry I can't seem to copy or upload the elevation graph but I went from 403 ft to 7154 ft back to 583 ft in the space of a minute or so.

Nah. It's a standard 5-mile loop I run from my house, so I know what it really is. It's just fun to look at.

Mine does not change much whenever I have Strava correct it. In fact, Strava decides to go the other way and shortens me more on elevation.

4.5 miles done. I focused on slowing down. I have been running a little faster than I should.
