Sorry you had such a rough one Dave. It seems your training was there, so I agree with the others in the race week BS you had to put up with leading to your demise. Your splits remind me of my last marathon, FFS.

 

Did you also consider Tunnel Marathon? I know a few people who went down for both of those races that weekend.

Looked at the Tunnel. The net downhill is attractive, but the first 3 miles through the tunnel with no GPS signal is a bit scary to me. I have no idea how to pace myself without a watch, especially at the start.

There will be a few options in the spring, but not sure yet.
