226.6 miles as of today.
I'm looking to break 2000 for the year since some years ago. Finally!
270.5 hot and sweaty miles for the month, which included 2 weeks of light running while on vacation. I'm sad to say goodbye to summer, but I won't be sad when I don't have to run in above 80F temps anymore...
Are you running outside on the road now?!
What did you do to your TM?
80F is not that bad. Try 90 or upper 90s + humidity. I saw a bunch of runners walking their routine runs a few weeks ago when it go really muggy and hot.
Penguin Power!
132.1 = way less than planned and 23.1 less than last month =(
I got pretty sick with some stomach issues which really derailed me. I'm feeling better now and hope to climb back on my training plan after this week.
Upcoming Races: Run as One 4M (4/24) * Japan Run 4M (5/8) * Brooklyn Half (5/21)
Refurbished Hip
How is the foot?
The bursitis is still there, but if I wear a metatarsal pad it seems to help. From what I understand, it could take a long time for the bursitis to actually go away, so it's all about managing it right now.
Running is dumb.
100.x - most this year by about 25 miles. Slowly, but surely ...
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.

I ran outside in Mexico for two weeks. The average temperature in the morning was about 88F with 99% humidity. Late afternoon was 100F, but less humid. Just because others do it regularly doesn't mean that it didn't suck for me. lol.. The TM has been just as bad, it's been above 85F in the garage, consistently, with no air circulation. I've been told to buy a fan, but... why do that when I can blame my slow pace on the heat? It's not that I'm old and lazy, it's the HEAT!

crap... Uh, I mean "well done!"
And Dave and skygazer, FS and everyone else too. It's been a hot one pretty much everywhere this year, but somehow we survived...

We survive every year, don't we
I would like Mother Nature to know that I am not asking for a worse summer next year, let this be on the record for all to witness damn it. This year was pretty damn tough.

For those who run after work it might have sucked, but this summer has been a cakewalk for morning runners here in Michigan.
Warm&fuzzy
362. No doubles. And yes, I do have a job.
Runner with a riding problem.
I ran early morning and it still sucked. Then again, I like to have my thermostat set to 68-69.... I might just be spoiled
Jealous.
As a runner? lol
Impressive!
