NB1400v2 and so far so good

I started using them last week. The lightest shoes I've ever owned. Love them for speed work.

There were no bombs that went off ever in the continental United States, as far as I know.

Well not at that time.  My only point is that this way of life is actually REAL and not just a potential fear.

Boston Marathon, World trade centers (pre-911), Oklahoma City since then.  Not sure any prep would have prepared us for those types of situations.

I assumed it meant you were having your period.

Glad to see this place hasn't changed.

To me, a period is too definitive, it doesn't leave room for anything to be added

              I prefer not using them

It is a new preference of mine, one I did not have in the past

              I call this evolution

Nah, I'm 46. Manopause took care of all that.

I finally got off the bed. I see you had fun without me.

                    I always miss the fun.

5 nice miles. No stomach problems because all I've eaten today is a 1/4 bowl of cereal. #Winning.

yes, they were reviewed quite well (doesn't always mean it will work for you), but they were on sale so that was a big plus for me too.

Glad I did packet pick up for my 5k after work. I drove by the place a few times before I relied on GPS. The people standing on the sidewalk a few doors down yelling was a nice touch (neighborhood bar).

That doesn't sound like winning to me.

                          From the Internet.

OH PROBLEMS. Uploaded today's run to my log, and the shoes I wore today had 123.4 miles on them prior to this run. If only I could just leave that number there forever!

lol - It's pretty cool when it's random like that.

                              Are we there, yet?

Apparently I do not run hills as well as I used to. I tried 5 repeats up Mt Joy at VF NP and had to walk at least half of the uphill which was only about .45 miles long with a vertical gain of about 250 ft. Downhill was no problem even being on trails. I didn't fall once, so I'm probably tempting the trails gods. 6.5 miles total.
