LRB really IS going to finish before I get anywhere... after the flight was delayed, we boarded, sat and sweltered for an hour, and had to deplane because of a “mechanical issue.” I have not yet left NY. I hate traveling.

I jogged the Hot Chocolate 15k today and had a blast. No PRs anywhere in sight, in fact it was my slowest one ever. But I took candy at all the water stops and enjoyed the run. Slowly rebuilding.

I ran 6.4 before our second soccer game of the weekend. Girls lost but they put up a good fight in the second half.
One of my daughter's best friends quit soccer this year in favor of dance and running, and her dad and I are now trying to get a USATF competitive kids' club up and running in our town - he's willing to do a lot of the logistical stuff and I'd be coaching so that will be fun if we can make it happen!
