Here is something you don't see every day, three sumo wrestlers running a 40 yard dash.

    It's the second video down.

Is it my imagination or are two of those guys motoring?

      At roughly 8 seconds for 40 yards, that's about a 5:52 pace.

It would be nice to peel off the mile 20-25 stickers and get those suckers done earlier in the race!

6 miles, 3 in the rain. Not too bad.

Amy, when and where is your HM? If you mentioned it I must have missed it. I know that you have been running consistently lately and I'm so happy for you! Are you health problems all behind you now?

I ran 8 slow miles but I included 3 at incline and 3 at descent.

Even though there were no men on, the BOMB of a home run that Jose Bautista just hit should really count as two runs.

I take it your marathon in Mexico is a hilly course?

I took the dogs out on the trails this evening for 4 miles, giving us a total of 10.3 miles today and so far this week 37 miles. I'm freaking 12.6 miles away from 200 for 30 days damn it.

No. It's completely flat. But am I mistaken in thinking that hill work will make my legs stronger? I haven't done any hills in the last 8 months and I have this nagging feeling that my legs are lacking strength when I try to do my 5k intervals. Do you think that hill work could help me with that in the long run? I'm desperate.  The last time I did hills regularly, twice a week, was when I trained for Boston, 2 years ago, and it was my PR marathon. Coincidence?

I can only do hills on the TM and I better start after Disney because my May Marathon is hilly.  I am not running that one for a PR but hills will not hurt and will make this palatable, right?

I was reading old threads from 2 years ago today and I found your Vegas RR from 2012, when you found out that you were allergic to dust. Isn't that where your next marathon is, in Vegas?

Spent the day sitting in the car, so no run. Hopefully a nice run tomorrow on the Vegas strip.
