7 with 4 at HM pace this morning with my RP. It was cold enough that we had to watch out for icy patches on the road. That's sort of an unofficial start of winter for me. We targeted a slightly faster pace today as we try to shift back to what we were doing before our marathon training.

Covid URD #2. Wife is showing symptoms now. Urgh

Oh, no,
When my wife was ill, she isolated in the den, which is separated from the living room by floor-to-ceiling windows and doors with windows. When she was in there, on the couch watching TV, my younger son would walk up and start tapping on the glass, like a misbehaving zoo visitor trying to get an animal on exhibit to do something.

Ugh.
I have 4 and the PT exercises. My hamstring is so sore from those Tuesday, so I'll see if it does not hurt to run.

Debating whether to sign back on to the compressed schedule (and what hours to do). We are letting CWS people get 2/2 WFH days each pay period (until now, they were at 2/1 which is why I quit the schedule). It will mean leaving the office at 5pm or later, depending on what time I decide to start. That means getting home after 6pm but only on two days per week, one of which will likely be my RD and one where I can sacrifice and run later in the evening but likely a shorter running day. It will mean being in the office 3/2 days per pay period which I think might help me not feel like I hate going to the office as much as I hate it now.
Still debating the start time. I was doing 7:30-5pm when I moved here. That will require me to wake up and leave a bit earlier than I do now, as I get to the office between 7:35-7:50am depending on traffic right now. But if I choose 7:45-5:15pm I don't have to switch my morning routing at all. I can always go for 8-5:30pm but not sure I want to leave that late. Waiting for an extra 30-45 minutes in the afternoon will feel eternal.
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO? lol. Of course all of this needs the boss' approval.
I learned my lesson from Baboon and the 1-mile race. Let me know what you want to hear and I'll be more than happy to tell you to do that.

plan to do nerve flossing, MYRTL routine, stretch three times a day

Rest day.
I need to get my compression shorts out of the back of my dresser. Cooler weather and longer runs equals more friction and a little chafing in my inner thigh. Not too painful. More of a warning.
Personal Bests:
800M - 2:38 (5/28/13) | 1 Mile -5:54 (5/28/13) | 3K - 11:55 (12/29/12) | 2M - 13:00 (12/1/12) | 5K - 20:00 (4/12/13) | 13.1M - 1:37:24 (2/3/13)
LOL. I'd like to hear perspectives then. Whether other people think it's worth working the 9 hours, later, etc. for 1 day off every other week and my sanity restored. I hate going to the office; that hasn't changed, so any less I can go, better.
Those look really good, daffy.
I did a 9/80 schedule for about 3 months and hated it. It made my commute longer at the end of the day. I also was supervising and under performing employee who had things that we supposed to be completed on Fridays and I had to check in to remind them to do their job.
Ugh. Interestingly, the 5:15pm traffic in downtown is lighter than at 5pm. I can quit any time (although my boss will be like WTH, again?) but if I don't ask now I am afraid the day I want as off and WFH might not be available if too many people choose the same (we always need an attorney in the office). So I also feel like I should request it and then see if I don't hate it.
Before I hated leaving at 5pm because my runs here at night were later than what I was used to. But now with WFH twice a week, it's not as bad as it was because those days I can run at lunch.

Can you always go back to standard if you don't like it? If that's the case, I'd say try it out and secure the days you want now, while you can.
Yup, I went back to regular with an email letting my boss know. Getting on is harder than getting off it.
Do you actually have to choose a 730 vs 745am start time? Or just work 9 hours from whenever you arrive
