This will be year 2 of the Miles Game started by Cyberic in 2021. The game is for fun, to see how each of us is doing, and (hopefully) to see how it runs over multiple years. I'm maintaining the spreadsheet & scores, but that doesn't mean I own the game; the group owns the game.
If you're not on the roster, but would like to join, post in this thread.
A runner has a 24 miles per week target, so extra points are added/subtracted for each 2.4 miles above or below target
A runner has a 60 miles per week target, so extra points are added/subtracted for each 6 miles above or below target
Each player's miles for the last three years and their target for the 2022 game is listed below. Please let me know if there are any errors.

Damn, my target per week last year was 40 and now it is 46. I expect to be mid-pack this year.

That's why this will really be neat as a long-term, multi-year game. People who rack up big miles one year will have a higher target the next year.
Are we there, yet?
Mine went from 36 to 40. Unfortunately I'm going to have difficulty coming close to that for the first few months due to medical issues I've been experiencing.
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K, 9:11:09 06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
Hope you are OK.
Thanks for continuing the game Fred. Not sure what my plans are for 2022 yet, but I may not be as consistent... thinking of maybe throwing in a rest week here and there, so I'd say consistency gold is up for grabs!

Tell me about it. I go from 48 to 59. It was fun while it lasted.

It goes back to the fainting spell and vertigo I had in July. There were indications I was occasionally skipping a heart beat so I had a loop recorder implanted which confirmed that. The beginning of December I had that replaced with a pacemaker, then had some complications with blood clots. All seems well for now but all that cut into training and it looks like a slow road back.
Damn! Hopefully all stays good and you recover well

I like my target. Should be achievable barring any injury

Ugh, glad you are on the mend. I must have missed all that when it happened, sorry.
You didn't miss it. I kept it quiet except for family and a few very close friends.
