Hope I don't do that tomorrow in my race!
The hip was fine today. I think because I had to do so much walking. lol There were several bouldering opportunities, not sure why I didn't think to bring my rappelling gear.

That's a long time to be on it too so great news.
Good luck tomorrow Cyberic. You are well prepared and I hope you have a great race.

Apparently the race that is going on over at Angel Mounds trails is a crazy race..... it's called the Spirit Crusher Survival Run, and this is it's first year.
Basically it isn't over until the very last runner finishes, I can't find the link but it said something like this:Race starts at 7 AM, if you can finish the 4.25 mile route within an hour you aren't disqualified. Runners that are still in the race start back out on the trails on the hour - 7 AM, 8 AM, 9 AM, 10 AM and so on. I think it said up to 100 runners but I ran into maybe 25 (the Evansville area will never see a hundred during any of our trail races).
I'm glad I didn't see it, I would've registered and be worse off.

Thank you. I'll be fine, it's just running after all.
Until sometime after the 2 hour mark.
The dice are cast. I even had my last meal early because I want to hit the sack as early as possible (9, 8 if possible). There is nothing else I can do for preparation.
Your last meal... it sounds so ominous.
Race day eve is an awesome time where the marathon is concerned. When you put it all together(the decision to do it, the training, the race, the aftermath) it's a culmination of a bunch of hard work and sacrifice. Enjoy all that it is.

^ this. Nothing left to worry about at this point. Just go to sleep, wake up, and run.

You know, strangely enough I am feeling much, much better. I almost wish I had ran 10-12 miles this morning instead of doing it tomorrow, but it was 72 degrees and the dogs weren't too pleased. Plus Jetta has only ran 8.3 miles so far, and I wouldn't want to push her hard. Hopefully I wake up feeling like this tomorrow morning.
Upper body weights and just under 5.5 easy miles.
Good luck racers!
WIP11, breathing is nice. Make sure you take the D stuff in the morning, I took it at night earlier this spring & it was a horrible night of not sleeping.
Congrats Step & DS. That course looks tough.

Back at the hotel. We even went to the poutine festival FFS. Now I am sick to my stomach which means hubby gave me what he had. FFS again.
Cy, hope to see you in the morning!!!!
