Finally at the hotel and off to have dinner with my dad. Mom looks really well and was moving like she is a runner. She is still using the walker but more like a weapon, as she lifts it completely off the air.
If you're lucky, you'll get to tell us in person someday...at the same time.

Apparently, an Olympic race walker bled from his turd-bin then took a crap en-route to collapsing on the course, but still managed to complete the 30k race. I have managed to avoid pics of this, and would love nothing more than to keep it that way!
Just another way that race walking is similar to running?
