No deets yet. My first inclination is the Mohawk-Hudson Marathon in one year. But... I'd like to sprint tri next summer. So my thought is to commit to my treadmill over the winter and do a spring marathon. It's gotta have at least a 6 hour open course. Nutrition is gonna be the tough part. I need to eat well so I don't balloon.

I would wait till fall, but this is coming from someone who has trained for a spring marathon.
It would also give you an entire year to whittle yourself down into race shape, which is an important, yet often overlooked variable.

I ran 5. And since my PT shockingly did not say racing two weeks prior to the marathon is a ten on the stupidity scale... I registered for the 10K. WHAT HAVE I DONE????
