So I ran a workout by myself this morning.
5 x (1 mile / 1 minute) + 6 x (200m / 200m). Got to work almost an hour earlier compared to the club, so there is that, but it's more boring, that's for sure.
Sugar Frosted Flakes are fat free, vegan
Hershey chocolate syrup is fat free, vegan
Add almond milk and you have my favorite vegan meal/dessert
off today, run and see sports doc tomorrow

I ran a sleepy 9.3 on the AlterG, sleepy thanks to the heart palpitations that kept me awake for a couple of hours from 1-3 AM. Today was supposed to be a broken tempo workout but I'm pushing it off to tomorrow so that I can combine it with my long run. Cue terror.

So, riddle me this:
I was looking more closely at my iron levels from 6/3 and 8/1. I called my doctor's office and am waiting for a call back, but check it out:
6/3:
Iron, total: 125
F Iron Capacity: 371
F % Saturation 34
Ferritin: 10
8/1:
Iron, Total: 69 (?????)
F Iron Binding Capacity 314
F % Saturation: 22
Ferritin: 26
So everything except the ferritin went down. Am I missing something here? It seems like I'm not improving, except my ferritin??
Oh and I ran 3.5.

that's weird. I thought ferritin was your iron "stores" that fills up after your blood iron is full. ? (or something like that)
when I had mine rechecked, he only did the ferritin test and not the full iron test
