FS, she was being sarcastic.

Oh............
Well, I was serious about where I would want my treadmill if I had one

Your treadmill is on display in the living room? My idea of a perfect place for my treadmill (if and when I ever get one) is one of the rooms downstairs near the windows with my favorite images from www.trailporn.com and selecct pictures of me at finishes. I still haven't decided whether I would want to move my running wall from the office to the treadmill room but hopefully if and when we begin building our company's new shop out on the home property I can talk DH into making my office big enough for a treadmill.
I have a two floor townhouse and the TM weighs 400lbs. Be my guest and move it upstairs. Haha. It's in front of the big screen TV.

I was not. It's in my living room. My living room takes half of the first floor and apart from the TM I have a big screen TV, a sofa, a love seat, two recliners, two tables, two bookcases and a weight set in a corner. And I can still do kickboxing and have enough space To do so.
Damn it ya'll!!! I am confused!
So to get this straight D, you were being serious right? Okay, I am done with this convo
Your big screen TV isn't in your living room? Now I am flabbergasted
Sigh. The TM is in front of the big screen TV And both are in the living room!!!! Don't pay attention to LRB.
Lol, I was typing my comment as you were typing yours to LRB, so I had to edit mine
LOL.
Oh. One doesn't generally use something that is on display. I guess you do.
Uffda
A TV works great. I have one on the TM at work and it's the only way I'd make it through the winter. They have it hooked up to cable. I guess you could do something like an iPad and stream movies or hulu.

This morning was a good Tempo run. 20 min Easy + 20 Tempo + 10 Easy + 20 Tempo + 20 Easy. It came down to a bit over 10 miles, over half of which were at Tempo pace. I noticed that I ran a 5k at my tempo pace in under 25 minutes this morning. Hopefully that bodes well for my 5k on Saturday where I look to break my current PR of 22:52.
Nice! The thing you have going for you is that some of Daniels' workouts have a ridiculous amount of easy miles before the quality portion starts, or, has intervals with prolonged easy miles interspersed with tempo pace or faster like the one above.
You therefore may go out there this weekend and hit it out of the park!
Nice workout Jimmy, it's not everyday that one does speed work when something is ailing but you managed to pull it off. Nice work on the weight loss too. 30 lbs is a lot to lose...and gain, OOF!
Hi Blue, hi Shari, hi Beth!
Signed up for CIM this morning, the self-proclaimed "fastest marathon in the west."
Life is good.
I am really curious those treadmills with the digital screens where you can type in a destination and run those trails/pathways.
Aw shit. It just got real up in here!
LOL, that was a figure of speech, but you confused Andrea in that she thought I was being cynical as to where the TM was located!
