    Best is relative.

I see what you did there. Cool

    From the Internet.

      What does Dr. Google say?

YOU HAVE CONSULTED WITH DR. GOOGLE HAVEN'T YOU??

Dr. Google is great because he/she/it will make you get to a real doctor ASAP! It could be leg cancer, you never know!!

I do not have a best paced/raced marathon yet. I have had enough positive stuff to take from each of them though to where they were not viewed as total failures or disappointments.

I thought I executed my last one about as well as I could have.  I pushed myself as hard as I possibly could, which has left me with some doubts that I'll be be able to match that effort again.  It is hard to both execute well and give your best effort.  I am hoping the stomach issues I had slowed me down and won't happen this time.

The thing about marathons is that best does not always equal fastest.

Lol, I've consulted with Dr. Google, runnersworld.com articles, running related articles and a book I have about common running injuries and the worst and what to do about or to prevent them.

All point to a minor strain, which makes sense, just not sure how or when it started  I just hope I've caught it soon enough.

Stupid question,  by dr. Google do you mean just using Google search engine or is there an actual Dr. Google?

                            22 C (maximum) = 71.6 F

                            28 C (feels like) = 82.4 F

Not catastrophic, but far from ideal.

Even then... my first was kind of a let down. I expected to feel... something other than tired.   lol

At least that's SOMETHING... I wasn't even sore after my second marathon.  It was really very weird.
