Mmmmm...beer
That was great, and if I had the ability to do it, I think I would do the same thing. How many people get to say that they were in the lead at Boston, even if only for a moment.

Hilarious!
Embarrassing... If everyone did like him, it would be a mess for the elites. But since he was the only one, I guess it's a little funny...
PRs: Boston Marathon, 3:27, April 15th 2013
Cornwall Half-Marathon, 1:35, April 27th 2013
18 marathons, 18 BQs since 2010
That was a positive split from hell, I am sure he regretted it for the next 26.1 miles. lol
+1
Great job Fuzzy, Jay and Jane!!!!!
Life is good.
No more marathons
Maybe the difference between chip and gun? It showed that he and his son crossed the finish line together. Nice.

Beyond nice - absolutely priceless.
This was a treasure that can never be lost.
Kind of brings a tear to my eye.
Boston 2014 - a 33 year journey
Lordy, I hope there are tapes.
He's a leaker!
Congrats, runners!
Will run for scenery.
I just read the whole thread - a very exciting day squished into a few minutes ! Congrats to our runners. Have another beer ! Take a long hot bath. Then write up some friggin' RRs, will ya ?
And great to see Meb win it. I don't really follow athletes much, but everything I've heard about Meb says he's one class act. And I didn't realize the US had had such a dry spell...
Stupid feet!
Stupid elbow!
From the Internet.
Congrats to all our runners! You guys are quick, Fuzzy and Jay! I probably saw both of you and didn't even realize it - we were across from the water station on the left just past mile 20. Definitely please write up RRs! I can't wait to hear how it was from the runners' perspective.
I have officially been bitten by the marathon bug after spectating all day yesterday - as long as my legs continue to hold up, I'm aiming for my first in fall 2015.
Actually, the guy who was leading the lead pack for the first few kilometers finished is 2:49. I'd call that a pretty good race.
(He's from Utah and it was all over the news last night)
