I'm having a massive first world problem right now: I desperately want to try the new Tempo 7 with Boost midsole, but I do not need another pair of shoes right now and I also do not like paying full retail for shoes.
I bought the Tempo 6 on clearance (which was still like 80 freakin bucks) and it was a complete waste of money. The color was God awful and the shoe did not compare favorably to my DST (wasn't even close actually) despite "claims" that Adidas is the superior shoe company.
What I took from that is sometimes the best shoe for you is the one you have, and to turn a deaf ear to all the noise coming others regarding their best shoe.
Boost products are all the rage right now but cost a million dollars. I would like to try the Tempo 7 but it is unlikely I will ever spend $80 on an experiment again. A failed experiment at that.
You might feel that for a few days, I know I did!
Hi Basya! Hopefully you do not find the dailies in Hades.
Are you racing again before Bean Town BP?
Feel better D!
Enjoy the spa, beauty, hair and makeup Scotty. You ole trickster you.
Good luck tomorrow BBB! Who is responsible for tracking you? The interwebz needs to know these things. Alrighty then.
Do you log your strength workouts FS?
Smart choice on the rest TCPA.
Nice run Marj. I feel awesome during the day after a tempo run.
'Sup CJ1. Will the elements allow you to run quality this weekend?
Hi Blue. I thought you might take another run along the ocean today but prudence pays.
L Boogie, Jack and DP are here and accounted for.
As for me, my stupid truck has been in the shop all week which is one thing, the other is that I am paying for a rental while waiting to hear what the damage is going to be.
As a result, all nonessential purchases are on hold, which mostly involves running shit. Boo.
I'm doing a half as a simulator at T-4 weeks.

Tomorrow morning is supposed to be clear, just flippin' cold. Freezing rain, ice crap supposed to start tomorrow afternoon. So I must do my long run between 4:30-6:30am before I have to coach two basketball games starting at 8am. Can't wait. T-8 weeks until race day.
Gotta love those unexpected expenses. Ours lately was a new vapor barrier in the crawlspace. On the bright side, the install guy had the wrong work order, and long story short, I am the proud new owner of a new vapor barrier and $1,000 of free insulation.

Ran along the riverfront today because I'm sick of the tm and it was COLD. Ran 7 miles. I think I am running my easy runs too Fast. Oops . Felt good though.
