Has your coach set your goal for space coast yet?
Yes, inquiring minds want to know!

Oh you know it's sub-3

Since I am not going to be there, Baboon will probably have 40F weather.

I imagine it will be perfect marathoning conditions, nice and toasty warm.
My HM is going to suck. The weather forecast predicts a high of 84, sunny and humid for Sunday . And if I'm lucky it will be in the 60s when the race starts. It might be in the 70s.
Hopefully that will change by then.

I don't recall you being negatively affected by heat. 🤔
Have I mentioned the tropical storm that is on our way and probably be a hurricane? The week I am leaving?
You should have checked that before signing up
Same re: Baboon
Space Coast weather history - low/high temp
2018 - 63/79
2017 - 56/73
2016 - 63/75
2015 - 65/79
The 56 was thanks to Baboon!!
When I finished in 2015, the feels like was 83 or something like that. Fastest space coast marathon.

Not yet. I still have no idea myself. I am still trying to get back into running shape after being injured all summer. I am in nowhere near the shape I was in heading into Boston.

I did, but it wasn't that bad, and I thought it was going to improve, not worsen.
As to not being affected by heat . I wish, but nope, I hate racing in the heat as much as the next guy.
If the temps are what the forecast predicts, I will try a conservative strategy, and hopefully still do ok.
3 miles and some light strength training. Didn't feel awful afterwards, so I'm taking that as a positive sign. Last week, even after short runs, I felt exhausted.
