          It's probably harder to think about registering because you just finished a long, exhausting, training cycle and need a break.  I am guessing by January you will feel better.  (that's how long it takes me!)

                        I just heard that a 34 year old American woman died around the 8k mark. Another runner is in critical condition. Sorry if you folks have touched on this already.

                          Yes, i heard that as well. Always so sad when it happens.

                              Yep. Very sad. It was in the local news yesterday. 16 people needed medical attention that required transportation yesterday. There were around 35K runners participating in all events (1k to marathon).
