    Well my point being it’s easiest to hit a weekly mileage goal if you’re just always running 7 days.

        I have no issues with running 7 days a week to make it easier to get the miles in. It's the streak compulsion I object to  

         

        It’s not a compulsion. I can quit any time. 
        (Although probably not tomorrow, because that’s the day I match my PB. And probably not the day after that. And probably not...well you get the idea.)

          You do what you want, Dave. As long as you don't get injured or burned out, it's all good. I feel I should take a day off once in a while. It's as much mental as physical.

            3 miles. There are way more people out at 7pm vs 7am. I should get up early, but I'm taking vacation days Monday-Thursday, so just can't do the early wake up.
