I wish.

I treadmilled.  I needed a break from the heat, though the gym wasn't much cooler. 60 minutes with 8 x 5:00 progression/1:00 recoveries.  8.5 miles total.  Good run.  Only my third treadmill run in four months.

3 miles outside in 4 months, twin.

 

I have done two treadmill runs this year.

One treadmill in the last two years.

Another progression (of sorts) run tonight.  Just felt better and better as the run went on.

Since I'm only doing about 4 miles there doesn't seem to be any reason to hold back.

I ran near and around our local small college - and it's full of youngsters here for summer running camps.

Good to see kids in a sport that they can use all their lives (if they wish).

Since we are handing out awards:

Ugh, 3.5 miles. Waited til 7 to start for it to "cool" down, which meant 74 dewpoint and 88 degrees. At least the sun wasn't beating down on me.

If it were up to me, I'd give that star to someone who runs 20 milers on the treadmill but I am no longer the hander outer of stars
