First ride of 2014 (Read 21 times)

Village people

After hours on the trainer, I was anxious to see how those hills felt this year. I goofed off for awhile with DS3 and then decided to try something more challenging. It was fun and I managed to climb a hill, three times, that I wouldn't even attempt last year. It is nice to see hard work pay off.

It is going to pour tomorrow, so back to the trainer.

I've managed a couple of rides in the past week or so.  One was a 24 mile gravel road race, then Sunday we did ~65 on our tandem.  I'm still craving a bare-legged ride without a constant snotty nose, though.

        Is the tandem fun?

Once I got over my complete lack of control and inability to see anything ahead of us (DH is nearly a foot taller than I), yeah.  A lot!  Ours can take some narrower CX tires, so we do some gravel road riding/racing.  Have a 36 mile race on it this Sat.

I'm so jealous!  I cannot wait to ride outside again!

Having a great April, thus far!!  Have done a couple of races and won them both. Big grin

Won the tandem division of this 34 mile race on 4/5:
