Fred - No problem at all!  Any variation from a straight line throws me off when running.  A zigzag, turn around, 90° turn.

Vitaly - I realized later that based on your streak, you were able to run through your Covid.  How was that?  My two previous times I couldn't get out of bed for a few days.  Gesh, I'm up to my third time and I work from home just about completely!

I get you on the problem with turns. I'm not a huge fan either, but in this case definitely preferable to going straight up the hill.  :-)

Mike - it was not pretty. My wife would only let me go out after I’d take a Tylenol and promised her to run short and easy (I did). I was also wearing a mask and went out early to avoid any possible contact with people. But ultimately only 2 days were really tough, and then I was feeling better already. The streak is almost 4 years long now 😆

No run for me today. I woke up and my legs were really sore, so I ate and did some errands. Now the sky is grey with rain coming and I'm just not in the mood for it. I have more things to get done today, so, today will likely be an unscheduled rest day.

Fred - nothing wrong with a day off, you deserved it after your epic race yesterday!

My RR posted. As expected it was a tough race, but I did well.

Just looked at my stats: this was my 300th race, is not that crazy?!

Afternoon! Had to work for 4-5 hours this morning and now finishing 5 on the TM. I almost took a URD.

Marathon training starts next week I think and I'm getting nervous. My leg issues have gone down substantially but not entirely gone. Oh, well, only one way to find out!

For most people, yes.  But you're a runner, so you're already crazy.

Just 4 TM miles for me today, takes me to 40 miles (200%) for the week and passed my (increased in mid-year) target for the year.

                      Streak reached 5 months.

                      Started running at age 60.

Vitaly, nice job! Will read the RR later!

Fred, hope you enjoyed the rest.

I've missed too many posts, so a generic "Great job" everyone Smile

My current streak is up to 4 RDs!  I've been the same for the last 2 days, the body feels okay, but the head is foggy.  My DW's is still about a day behind me.  I still tested positive yesterday.  We'll see if I attempt a short run later today if it ever stops raining.

Fred - is it raining as badly as it is here?

Mike - yeah, unfortunately it takes time to clear that head fog, hopefully you'll be able to run soon, if not today then tomorrow!

Ankle deep puddles in the park, here we go again LOL. I ran an easy 10K at 8:40 pace and did the pull-ups.

We have snow squalls (allegedly). All I see are flurries. Hoping the squall part does not come in during the commute home.

RD. Not sure if this is the official London Marathon training start but we are 18 weeks out. FFS!

Assuming we still have something to play for in the RA game final, my weeks 12 & 11 out from Zydeco will be running a few miles every day at around 9:50 pace (30 seconds faster than MP).
