Looks like mid-30's and breezy at the start. Brrrrrr.

my kind of weather-to run in, not to mill about for 3 hours beforehand

      no rain is forecast fortunately

      still, I'm excited.

Yeah, I have plenty of throwaway layers. I will NOT be cold!

I'm doing the NYRR 5 miler on Friday--cold and rainy. Smile

Something I was wondering about... I was going to wear an old throw-away sweatshirt over my running clothes. Does your number need to be visible all the time or can I just lift my sweatshirt and show them if anybody asks?

          I'm a n00b... don't know the NYC protocol!

You'll be fine if you have your number pinned to your singlet or whatever else under some throw aways.  This is number four in a row for me and I too will NOT be cold!

All righty then... that sounds great.

Now my biggest problem other than running 26.2 miles will be making it back to the airport (LGA) in time to catch a 4:05 flight home!

i've got throw away sweat pants, gloves and 2 tops plus a 80 cent rain poncho and hand warmers. All of it to stay comfy pre race.

                 Hopefully I won't over sleep.
