Imminent Catastrophe

If you haven't read this book (NFI) I highly recommend it, especially for a first-time runner like me. It's a mile-by-mile account of the 2007 race along with the history and stories of a few runners and volunteers along the way. It's an easy, very entertaining read and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the characters that I've read about.

"The most common question from potential entrants is 'I do not know if I can do this' to which I usually answer, 'that's the whole point'.--Paul Charteris, Tarawera Ultramarathon RD.

It has been sitting around the house for months now. I finally started to read it. Thanks for inspiration.
