Pain is my friend
Half my time running last week was during a 31 mile training run in Bryce canyon National park. Was at 8,000 ft most of the time. Ran in snow, ice and mud. Climbed 7,100 ft of vert. Great weekend run with friends. Will be back in Bryce canyon area in a few months for the Bryce 100 miler.

24 hour loop race?
Wow! Quite the scenery, Krash! How were your legs after that?
I'd like to shout-out everyone on my team (All Run And Games) for starting off the year with 12 straight weeks of 100% green!!! That's an awful lot of consistent running. Glad to be with them.
Wow that’s impressive!
Dave
Feel great. Legs felt a bit tired Monday but was able to run 9 miles with ease. I am ready for another big weekend.
And still all-plants?
I am on the fast adapted diet/keto. I eat meat and lots of veggies. All my carbs come from plant or other healthy foods. No grains, processed foods, artificial sugars and low carb (50-75 grams a day). Lots of healthy fats. Eggs and bacon. The best stuff. I'm on day 77. I Now run 4-5 hours on water and little food. I don't bonk afterwards and recover faster. The big question, Is this life style sustainable long term? And are there health risks with a high fat diet? I am following up with my primary doctor.
So amazing, Krash!
Aged to Perfection 2024
is there week 14?
There always is. I had a bunch of stuff going on and didn't get it written up. Sorry for the delay; I'll try to get it done this morning.
Sorry for being a nag.
