For anyone who has stumbled on to the RMEC forum, we are hosting the Unoffical Chase of Champions 5k and 10k on 04/12 at 9:00 am in Rocky Mount. Why is it unoffical? Becuase the real race stopped in 2006 after 29 years. The RMEC had 50 people run the course last year as a timed fun run. The roads are open to traffic, and this is a run-at-your-own-risk event. There are no prizes, or awards, but we have fun. The cost is free. For more information, check our site www.rockymountenduranceclub.com.
