But you wouldn't want to live here if you need sun. The marine layer (fog) moves in during the summer as it heats up inland, and it might not burn off for days. That's why they have the San Francisco Marathon in July. On the other hand, if people want sun and warmth, they can drive over the hill and down to Palo Alto or San Jose where it will be 90.

First trail run in a month today as DW and I ran 4 miles on some relatively flat trails. Knee loosened up after a mile and felt mostly good. No sharp pains at all. Still being cautiously optimistic.
Warden - wowser . If you were on the coast, they'd say "Red sky at morning, sailors take warning". Hope you stay smoke free. Nice pics yesterday.
