Occasional Runner
Here's my race report from ATY. I had to borrow shoes to run, I stopped to run a Beer Mile and I almost froze to death in AZ desert. But it all worked out.
You can check it out here:

Congratulations on your 4th place in the beer mile. That's awesome !!!! I think you may have a case for getting some handicap time from those other non-runners, perhaps you'll get on the podium.
Oh yeah, nice job on the 48 hr as well...
tbd.
Thanks, Sandy. I ran 40 miles to warm up for the beer mile, then another 160 miles for a cool down when we were done. With that kind of investment, I would expect some fair play from all participants.
Nice work as always.

You should have seen the look on my wife's face when I gave her the Reader's Digest version of your report. Congrats on your win :-)

My wife just rolls her eyes when I do these things.
Congratulations on the race. And nice race report--entertaining as always! Can we hope for a RR from DW on the Beer Mile?
Are we there, yet?
Every report I read for this race is different but they all concur that it is a fantastic race. With that Beer Mile in the middle yours has to be one of the more unusual. I'd really like to run it this year and entering the 48-hour race may be the only way I'll ever have a chance at a 100 mile buckle as slow as I am. I like that idea. Thanks for mentioning it.

Congrats, Kelly. How nice to end and begin the year with a great accomplishment.

From the pictures, it looks like Jo won the woman's beer mile. Way to go Jo.
Don't kid yourself, you know you'll do the 48hr again next year.

She did win, but she was the only woman. A win is a win!

Congrats! Another solid win.
I guess a criteria for you for entering a race is the RD has to have the same shoe size. Nice!
You should run the 24 hr next year. You would kill it.
My favorite day of the week is RUNday
Thanks! Weren't you out there, too?
