        I lost my rama

100k wasn't in the cards and really wasn't realistic considering I had only about 6 weeks of good training. I ran one more lap for a total of 44 and 38.8 miles. Aside from being totally drained at that point, I was running really well, much stronger than I have in a couple years. I'm actually pleased with my performance. BTW it was about 11:39:40 when I finished my last lap. I hit 50k almost 2 hours faster than at D3 and was still moving well at that point.

Nice work and it's always great to see such fantastic improvement.  Rest well and hope to see you at a loop course sometime soon!

Congrats to Queenie and George on good races.

I must be something of an anomaly then, because I like short loops and often train on them. I think I would be more daunted by facing a large loop and wondering if I could make it around again.

I'm kind of with you on this one George, especially for timed races.  For some reason I really like the 1 to 1.5 mile loops.
