Thanks on the interesting takes on law enforcement. Like all of us, I guess they are also not immune to the “world is going mad” sentiment these days.

As far as our Kexit is concerned. . .

DD1 – yes, time flies when you’re having fun. . .  My Korean has improved a little, I can sort of read the characters and perhaps speak like a 3 year old. But for the most part I can get by with English, especially in business settings and with the younger generation who all take English classes.

AT – we definitely would have liked to stay longer it is really fun living here and we've made some good friends here, but we are also very happy to be getting closer to the kids.  Mixed emotions.  But I will also say that the company is moving me back as scheduled to help with belt-tightening measures due to the downturn in shipping and shipbuilding.
