Just saw this on FB. Man now we need to look for another Spring 24hr. PA lost Sole Challenge and now the Montour.

ATTENTION: Due to family and work commitments, I will not be able to host the 2019 and 2020 Montour 24. Bob and his family, Emily, and I had a lot of fun putting on this race these past 5 years and we hope that we can bring it back in the future.

“Paralysis-to-50k” training plan is underway!
I lost my rama
Well that's a bummer. Talking to Daydreamer during the race, he eluded that it might be cancelled after this year. Hope there's something out there for next year.
3/17 - NYC Half
4/28 - Big Sur Marathon DNS
6/29 - Forbidden Forest 30 Hour
8/29 - A Race for the Ages - will be given 47 hours
Are we there, yet?
The closest ones I know about are D3 on the track which will be May 4th next year and 3 Days at the Fair in North Jersey. Other than those it's travel.
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K 05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour
06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.

My favorite day of the week is RUNday
Hmmm.... slim pickins. What could be worst for PA and NY'ers than going to New Jersey? (don't tell Mr Finn I said that).
There's always Ohio: Outrun 24 in Kirkland.
Just read about this on FB. Sad to see it go.
I had visions of a Trailer Trash relay team running it. Always thought that would be a cool way to do it.
At the same time I understand why David had to make the decision. Putting on events places a lot of demands on a family and thier's is quite young yet. I was just starting to plan how to get back into running enough that I'd be able to put up some serious miles there next year.

Hmmm.... 16th of 64 OA with 62.92 miles in that cold wet muddy mess. Yup, you need to step up your game mister.
There's no excuse for not getting at least 100 in this....
