August gave me the highest monthly mileage for the years...so I fucked that up! Fun wise...umm...hmmmm can't pin point too much. Went to the beach, but it was foggy , I did spot a bear twice..that was fun.
Mandy: Is there any correlation to the fact that August sucked for you and you bought a new bike and a new watch to compensate for it? what do you think Jamie?

I am thinking that WC Runner won...he had fun and ran 151 miles. No wait...MT Warden ran 118 miles and also had fun...I would say he won!!! (I just assumed Mike would have high miles) DayDreamer and LB had low miles but I have a feeling they didn't have too much fun so calling MTWARDEN as winner!!

I did not win...that much I am sure of. I had my highest mileage in a few years and did not have fun doing it.

I'm in the camp that say's screw August. August sucked . No long runs, no fun runs. Just miserably hot, humid sucky runs. The only bright spot was a nice 22 mile mtn bike ride. Other than that it's good to see the month in the rear view mirror.
I think wcrunner wins. He had good miles, took a running vacation in a beautiful area and had a good time. Warden comes in second because he lives in that area and always has fun. Wcrunner's travel points puts him over the top .
Actually, I bought the watch in June!
Then yes, I bought a new bike this month, but now my right elbow hurts too much to ride it. Sigh.
I also F'ed it up, had fun but did too many miles... 196. I don't know who "won", but it wasn't me.

That is a good point DD....but then MT Warden usually hits the 200 in mileage so he really did run the least miles...for him.
