    I didn't get out as early as planned, so weather was 80 degrees with 90% humidity by the time I got tot the AT.  I sweated out 2 hours and it was a real mental run as I desperately wanted to turn around early.  That which doesn't kill you...

     

    QOTD:  Moon, hill repeats are good, and speed work can help with hill running if you can't get to any big hills.  If you have the time, you can add some strength training for quads and hammies.  As several have said downhill is just as important, and I haven't found anything that simulates downhill running, so if you can make a drive to any area with a good hill, make sure you do repeats running downhill as well as up.  Good luck.
