My salty dogs
Well I already knew you are well past the being obsessed stage. Plus you are a freak of nature the way you are running.
I believe the over 40 crowd should pay more attention to the amount of sleep in between key workouts.
Top runners likely nap during the day if they are going to do hard doubles.
Sleep time is key muscle recovery and building time do to the release of growth hormones.
But don't take my word for it:

Yeah, I completely believe that. I want to sleep all the time, and I am much more aware of my need to sleep than I usually am. So how goes it in TX? Looks like you have found some trails, even if they are the paved kind. Job and home going OK?
after 21 years running .. Alltime PR. September 279 miles .
ready ,last long run Sunday, then just working on pace and shorter sub pace runs to sharpen.
See you at Baystate !

Nice work. And you thought you couldn't do the mileage.
If you see me at Baystate it will be at least 15 minutes after you are done, so I'll buy you a beer. See you there.
And rcuch, what the hell are you doing?
i'm not following you.
In order to see the truth, sometimes you have to loose an eye.

Right-- you are always one to lead out.
20 yesterday. Didn't know that was in the plan. I'm guessing (hoping?) it's because you don't plan to run much this weekend. Still.
it wasn't REALLY like a true 20. it was more like a 6 mile run, followed by a 14 mile slog...i mean jog, because there was frolicking in puddles.
it wasn't in the plan.and it will be very unlikely that i'll be gettin a 14 mile tempo on sunday or whatever it is. hoping it all evens out somehow i guess. i will benefit from yesterday just as much as i will benefit from today. it's all for the mind at this point.
mta - congrats on 2000 cremah!
this is ros..co p. cole train. gil...gil...gil
