This doesn't exactly fit this thread but then again it sort of does. It's the guy's whole approach that's interesting, not so much the record that's not a record part.

A list of my PRs in a misguided attempt to impress people that do not care.
Don’t think just run slow.

Directed pace... all the rest is slow.... I’m on board

Some interesting old guy running geek training stuff here...

Interesting, but I find it hilarious that he mentions being out of shape and fat - then goes out week one and runs 85 miles. Yup, another elite with really no clue what we true fat-ass old people deal with weekly in terms of injury prevention and just finding consistency - the battle is real...
Take what's useful.
I dunno, I think it's the same thing. His frame of reference is just different.
That's what I thought. I liked it because if you scale it to mere mortals it's good stuff.

I still (and probably always will) hate intervals but there are a couple interesting ideas here. I like the idea of the whole thing averaging out to MP.
Simple but interesting.

Haven't read all this yet but it looks interesting.

Same guy as the last post. This is about the most straightforward sports nutrition article I've ever read. Highly recommend.
