Here's an idea, we'll see how well I keep up on it. It's happened many times that I've missed out on a race that I might've done simply because I didn't hear about it, or forgot about it. The idea of this thread is just a place to list races, mostly but not exclusively "local", that any of us might be interested in doing. Road, trail, triathlonating, whatever. I'll get it started with a few I know of offhand and keep adding. If you know of an upcoming race that isn't on the list, comment and I'll add it, including obvious ones I'm forgetting. For the purposes of this list I'm not considering whether or not a race might be currently sold out. I'll also add races that have already passed by this year and leave them all on the list as reminders for the future. Also, please let me know if I have anything screwed up. It's inevitable.

I just added that Ocean Park 5k to the list. Never heard of it, but it's not far away and seems to have been around for quite a while. Interesting. Any of you know anything about it?

If you are suffering though the actual winter you may need a new winter hobby or maybe you need to move...and for your info, running is able through all seasons if you are not blind to what one thinks is perfect conditions. Salty is wise in this and his words still ring. Anyone can run in perfect conditions. Are you anyone? That's what I want to know.

Just added the Saco Turkey Trot, yet another race I was somehow completely unaware of. Word on the street is that Connor Curcio is going to destroy his dad at this event.
