Great job again team! I noticed, like Dan did, our awesome miles per runner average, much higher than any other team.
I apparently can't go an entire month without a race and signed up for a 5K downtown this Sunday. Don't know how I'll do in the midst of my marathon training, but I'll give it a shot.
Sincerely, #11 on the top ten runners list for the week by 0.7 miles - d'oh!

I get what you said now Z. I feel like a low mileage runner because the people around here are freakishly high mileage runners. He might not see a bunch of people who run 20+ MPW.
My ortho is also a runner. I "confessed" to doing the 6:40 paced tempo run. He was in awe of my speed. Once again. I don't feel fast because the people here are freakishly fast.
Lord of the Manor
You certainly hear a lot from the people who run freakishly fast, and lots of miles.
If I could make a wish I think I'd pass

Z - not saying much as my 2012 was horrible in comparsion.
Jedi- Nice PR on a tough course! Sounds like this is shaping up to be a good year for you!
Looks like another solid week for 4midables.! Back to decent training again this week. Tempo run could of gone better yesterday, but can't complain. Probably hit close to 60m this week.
PR's - 5K - 20:15 (2013) | 10K - 45:14 (2011) | 13.1 - 1:34:40 (2013) | 26.2 - 3:40:40 (2014)

Yes, I was meaning your miles are probably higher than the average runner your ortho might see.
Just posted my miles for the week - a little lower than I'd like to have seen due to a failed tempo run on Friday. The good news is I was only 4 seconds off of my 5K PR this morning at the end of week 12 of marathon training. 21:56, was good enough for 1st in the 45-59 age group. They only gave prizes to the top 2 in each age group and I would have been 3rd or 4th in the 30-44 group, so hooray for being 45! Especially when I opened up the envelope they handed me for my prize and it was $100!
Nice AG win, anonymous guest! Time to go shopping for some more running stuff!
I nailed my half mile repeats yesterday. Maybe I am not allergic to speed work anymore.
It was the first time I did five half mile repeats. McMillian gives me a range of 3:03 - 3:11. My times were 3:04, 3:05, 3:05, 3:08, and 3:07. The sub-20 5k is looking more attainable every week.

Very nice pacing Dan!
By the way, runningviolamom is back on the team.
Welcome back runningviolamom. We need you.
The addition of Saigyo to Triple Digits is going to make that team tough.
You're not kidding, Dan. i don't know where that guy came from, but he is a potential game-changer.
Oh wow! He accounted for almost 30% of their total last week!
I tried out my new Asics DS Racer 8s last night. It was the first run I have done without my custom insoles since June 2012. I decided to give them a real test and do my first 1 mile time trial since June 2012. Last year's time trial was 5:58. This time I did the mile in 5:44. I even did it on tired legs yesterday. My long run was Wednesday.
The most important aspect is no foot pain today. I love these shoes.
