    With so much attention being focused these days on Dathan Ritzenhein and Alberto Salazar ... I thought you might like a few links to the Nike Oregon Project (track team).

        especially for those who followed Pre while he was alive.  Galen might be faster, but Pre was quite something in his day.  A very gifted runner who had a tremendous desire to win.

          This is a very nice article on Alberto Salazar ... and the Nike Oregon Project.  It is very hard to argue with the success this program has had.

                      A very good showing by Mo Farah and Galen Rupp in the 2011 New York City Half Marathon:

                      Ryan Hall was well off the pace.  We'll have to see how he does at Boston in several weeks.  With "advice" from the legendary Jack Daniels, Ryan is now his own coach.  Time will tell how well that works at the elite level.
