Beth McCurdy 122.5516 NorthCoast Fall 9/23/12
Gert Freas 122.504 20 in 24 7/15/2012
Long dead ... But my stench lingers !
I am assuming the Q period will be the 18 monts prior to WC Race (May 11-12, 2012) So I guess November 11-12 2011 - December 31st 2012 ?
Great job by Fejesjoe at the WC! Hope to see you and DB on the team in 2013.
I agree I think all 3 team USA scorers had PRs - Morton, Lewis and Fejes ... Nice - Nice - Nice!
Who knows about 2013 - I do not even have a score on the board.
From USATF,
Qualifying window: November 11, 2011 (18 months prior to WC)- February 11, 2013 (3 months prior to WC)
Team Selection: February 11-12, 2013
Team Announced: February 13, 2013
While it is likely that Freedom Park will be the last chance for anyone to qualify, Desert Solstice is probably the best opportunity -- lots of fast people and knowing with high likelihood what it will take to be #6.
It is great to the the men's team getting stronger with each passing year.
Ladies is just as strong and stronger compared to the world - 4x 140+ mile runners. I believe the 129.87 is not safe.

Apparently some updates were made. I didnt go through both versions to see what the changes were.
Maybe Scott Traer is not a US citizen?
Other than that just decimal dust (hundreds) and I added the 2 additional ladies with > 120 ... Having 10 already with > 120 is a statement of strength in itself.
UltraCentric 24 starts tomorrow morning. Sabrina Little (Moran) running it. Not sure how much running she put in with just graduating and getting married at all.
Sabrina won the overall and women's title. She had 130 miles at 22 hours. Dan Rose won the men's. At 122 miles at 22 hours.
I have not been keeping up this list ~ Selfishly, I am looking for changes to the men's list.
It says it is accurate through 9/26
Northcoast 24 fall - None
Ultra-centric - None
24 the Hard Way - None
I have not been paying that much attention, but there are a ton of races yet
Desert Solstice
Freedom Park
San Francisco one day
Accross the Years
That have produced team members in the past.
600 laps = 149 miles
Very happy for WG - 128+ She is an ass kicker
Nick Coury ran enough to get ahead of Dennis, but not Scott - Maybe Scott is not a US citizen? Since he was not on the official ustaf list they did not know about hom

Ok, I think I finally understand - by this chart
WG needed 131+ to take the sixth spot to go onto our worlds team?
But her 128 is still a top 10 American performance in the qualifying period, so it's still awesome.
That list is actually confusing because of the repeat mentions of the same women. Here is my version with dups removed
1. Connie Gardner 149.362. Suzanna Bon 143.583. Anne Lundblad 140.264. Sabrina Moran 147.905. Carilyn Johnson 130.926. Deb Horn 124.60 131.117 @ Desert Solstice
7. Lana Haugberg 129.84
8. WG 1289. Anna Piskorska 126.8410. Sue Scholl 125.253611. Beth McCurdy 122.551612. Gert Freas 122.504
I just adjusted Deb Horn for Desert Solstice: http://www.facebook.com/aravaiparunning/posts/10151275808048808
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

Yeah Sue!!! She hangs around these parts, but she's much too humble.
Running is dumb.
On On
Read that Anne is not taking her spot. Means 7th should be offered a spot.
