It has been 2 weeks since this race was held, and I think it and race directors Carl and David deserve a shout out.

Everything was done well and certainly exceeded my expectations for a fatass kind of race.

Like it was in lots of other places, the weather was hot and humid.  I stopped after 75 miles in the 100 mile race.  There was also a 50 miler.
