This event was not a race but an fantastic annual event that is organised in Kent (South-East England) primarily for walkers which runners now attend to test their mettle.
We treated this as a training run for a future event so happy to get the miles in but enjoy the read

Thanks jpdeaux, it is getting harder to keep them concise these days There will be a few more coming as I step up the mileage to do the Grand Union Canal Run in May 2011 (145 miles)!!!
