Are we there, yet?

This year's race was threatened by a Medicane, a hurricane like storm that promised to hit southern Greece and the Peloponnesian Peninsula. The race started at midnight. bhearn is at checkpoint 22 (of 75) and in 92nd place. I think the field is limited to 400 runners.

CP 28 - bhearn reached here in 9:44:22 and has moved up to 76. Unfortunately I can't find the distance for any of the checkpoints except those which have cutoff times. The next one is CP 35 (124 km) with a 16 hour cutoff.

bhearn has reached 124 km, roughly the halfway point (CP35) in 12:24:36, an auspicious number for a mathematician I would think.

Wow, that was an excellent race and race report!  Not sure what I can say other than I was just in awe in your preparations, planning, and tactical execution, even with that 15 minute mishap.  As far as the puzzle of running, you're doing a damn fine job piecing it together sir!
