Or should I say in the air instead of on the road? We’re flying back from Ireland today. I know Karen is on the road too. Looking forward to seeing her in California later this month.
Kat, thanks for volunteering. Too bad about the annoying AS captain.
Kilmisters, sorry the year is not starting off on the best footing. Hoping things get better.
Damaris, annoying about the vague Covid message. Hope Trixie is ok.
Lori, bummer about the knee. Maybe it wants a rest day.
Hi CrazySue and HCK!
I’m ready to be home. One week with my dad is my limit. And I miss my birds. And I need to clean out the fridge since our power was out for a few days. There were big storms at home recently and some trees came down in the area, must have knocked out some power lines or other equipment. Fortunately our fridge was mostly empty since we were away.

Today I'm going to test out my knee with something. After work.

Morning! I have 7 later and a vet visit. I would like to run outside but I'll see how work shapes up (we have a decline in bankruptcy cases still but lots of work on the cases we have).
We put a Ring camera were Trixie was sleeping trying to see if she was using the litter box or eating but it didn't occur to us to use the one where the litter box is. Anyway, it sounded 300 times last night (we didn't hear it) and I saw at 1am she finally left the seat and came back later, assuming using the litter or eating (or both). Hoping that means she is feeling better.
Margaret, travel safe. Hoping your area is not affected by the floodings.
Lori, good luck with the knee.
Damaris
Spin class was tough this morning, but I need to get back in the groove.
Damaris--hope your kitty is improving.
Margaret and Karen--safe travels.
Hugs Elina.
Happy Tuesday y'all!
Margaret, you've covered quite a few European countries in relatively short amount of time [:

WINE o'clock somewhere!
YAY Margaret! Glad you'll be back soon. Hope your house is OK and friends and neighbors all fared ok,
Damaris, hoping Trixie is on the mend. Good luck with your cases and run.
Sue, grooves are good.
Elina, Hi, Howdy, and Hugs!!!
Lunchtime run went exceptionally and unexpectedly well. I was feeling down this morning, not sure why, so I was a bit worried about the run. I pushed through and got it done, plus some. I had 10 min run out of 45 walking on the schedule. I thought it was 15min so I pushed to 20 min running. It was challenging at times, but felt really good after, feel accomplished today.
Looking into adding some kind of strength training - something super easy and free (no gym for me.) I found one from REI with stretches, lunges, and plank thingies among others. Might start with that.
Off of work and running tomorrow. Have the fridge guy coming out to either fix it, or call it dead. I am sick of not having a real one. (I use the garage one currently and have since the good one broke, in OCTOBER.
Have a nice one ladies.

Sigh, might not get to run. Went to the vet with Trixie but since the vet and I noticed also like part of her throat was swollen, they kept her for XRays. Now she wants to talk to me after all patients are gone (5:30pm) so I might just get there, get bad news, and come back home late for running and pick a wine bottle instead. I feel like this won't be good news.
I'm sorry Damaris, hugs your way. She just might want to be able to talk to you without being rushed. Thinking good thoughts.

Thanks. They think they saw liquid in her stomach in the XRay but hard to tell if it's that. The specialist hospital already has an appointment for her but it's two weeks from now. I can always take her to the ER but she is not bad yet (I hope!). Her blood tests were all normal, so I'm guessing liquid in the stomach area (if it's that) could be heart failure? They recently detected a slight murmur for the first time but they told me it was at level 1-2. Whatever that means.
Anyway, RD. We just got back, my food box is still MIA so now scrambling to defrost meats and stuff for our dinner. No time to run today. Wine in my hand.
6 miles this morning on the treadmill with 7 x 5 mns moderate effort and then strength training after work. Now making some brownies and trying to decide if I want to go all out with making them unhealthy. I already broke up some oreo cookies in them, debating making cookie dough frosting.
GatbsyBird, safe travels. Yea, a week with family is about the max. We used to have the in-laws stay for 10 days or so when they lived in New Mexico. That was a lot.
BerthaSlayer, hope the knee behaves.
Docket, hope you can get some answers soon.
CrazySue, spin workouts are sneaky hard. I've been using my bike a bit more recently and my heart rate gets up and I don;t feel it the same was as running.
H Kilmisters!
KatS, there is a ton of strength trainign workouts on youtube. I've been doing Caroline Girvans a lot.
