WINE o'clock somewhere!

Laura, nice you got up early for a few miles.  Good luck with work.  I will agree on your hair, looks fab.  And grey.  Mine is bypassing grey and going stark white.

Lizzie, they seem to change meetings and calls a lot for you very last minute!

Damaris, lack of sound?  I take it you sleep with radio or some kind of white noise??  I used to, now prefer silence.

Sandy, two weeks of on-call?  Oh geez, that is a long time. August is indeed cruising by.  I've been so lazy.

Sue, holy mother of milkshakes, those look AMAZING!!!!!!  Not a huge milkshake fan, but perhaps I would make an exception.

CC, nice you have the playground to yourself, it is much more reassuring.  Glad dinner was delicious last night.

Karen, congrats to DH on setting a retirement date. Too funny on the chatter.  Good luck with that...  Lucky you are both able to retire so young. Lots of things for you both to enjoy.

Cathy, ugh on the man drama.  Makes me content to be single.  Still traumatized over the previous relationship and it has been four years.  I have been contemplating something to re-align my bottom teeth.  One got a bit wonky and has tipped out a bit.  My lower lip covers it, so unless it gets worse, I will probably ignore it.

Work meeting last night was uneventful except one annoying thing.  They want to start this package which includes exam, vaccines, fecal, heartworm, and bloodwork.  We are giving away services for that and guess who pays, the doctors.  We work on production, so I would not even be breaking even, I would be losing money.  NOT happy.  Sent an email to the practice manager, have yet to hear back.  She is probably busy - putting her new desk together...

Up to nothing again today, maybe a trip to the grocery store and Costco.

CrazySue, oh, do those milkshakes look good! Ahhhhh...the whipped cream. Yum!
Seloc, if a tree falls in the network forest, does it make a sound?

Sunday Buddy and I did 85 minutes out the trail.
Monday I did 9 holes of golf with DC. I can hit straight, but only a few yards.
Today I had a nice, cool 40 minute run out the trail. Felt good in spite of the fact that I couldn't get back to sleep this morning at 4:30.
      Gotta run, more later.

      Where is the "any" key?

Awww, thanks everyone for the hair compliments, it has a way to go but I like it so far (one year this month).  At some point, I will take a few inches off the bottom to lessen the color difference.

Lizzie - Ahhhh on the meeting time change.  I was happy to find that our weekly meeting was cancelled this morning!  Yes, BF used to run (and he is fast when in shape).  He can manage to run 2-3 miles at my pace but back/hip issues have pretty much curtailed his running career.  I'm trying to get him out walking more!!

Damaris - ugh on the power outage.  We were lucky at my house but part of town is out - my doggies had their first haircut scheduled today and it was cancelled due to no power ughghghghgh!  They look so bad and are getting matted.  I vote RD for you after no sleep and no power!

Sandy - nice workout and walk, bummer your neighbor may be moving!  Today has been manageable, I"m trying to put out fires before my partner comes back tomorrow as we are spending the majority of the day on the phone with assessments.  Bleh.  Hope your phone call is not too bad!

Sue - Wow, that looks amazing!!

CC - I love Thai food!  Enjoy the playground!

Karen - awesome about the running groups!  LOL on DH and talking, I can relate though right now his schedule has him leaving really early in the am so it's only the 2ish days he's home and I'm just working to engage in the convo though I would really rather enjoy my coffee in peace lol!!

Cathy - WTG on the 11 morning miles!!  My DS may be getting Invisilign, I need to schedule a consultation. The dentist's office suggested it a few weeks ago as an option.  Oh boy on the man drama...

Lori - yeah on the work shift news!! Glad the beer fridge is working out!

Kat - I love your white hair!  I have two streaks of white at my part which I really love. The rest is more peppery ha ha.  Ugh on the work idea, does not sound like a good one so I hope that nix it!

Judy - I can not golf to save my life - I do okay putting but my drive and mid game sux, like it goes 20 feet!  If I ever do get any distance, it ends up in the road or on the next fairway!

Okay, guess I better get back to work...don't wanna

With the headache that I have going now between work and the no sleep, I am trending towards the RD, lol.

I can't deal with full silence, I need something (we keep a fan on for noise). I even studied for the bar and through law school with the TV on, music, etc.

            Damaris

DH is in the club too.  He will NOT leave me alone sometimes!!! We've talked about it, and he understands my need for "Susan Time". Sorta.

White noise--DD has a noise machine for the babies. She also has a thingy that just says "shhhhhh" over and over and over. lol

Docket – Oh man! Sorry for the power outage last night. Not surprised you didn’t sleep well..I would have missed my AC!

Sandy – Woohoo! Nice job on the class this morning. SO CRAZY that August is halfway over. I just can’t believe it. Well that’s a bummer about the class. I wonder if someone would take it over from her?? I do the same thing with work email. I try not to look after 8pm so I can at least sleep. I did have something come in after 6 and I came upstairs and completed it so it wasn’t on my plate this morning. I call that anxiety – LOL. Pizza sounds so good!! Hope your day goes better than yesterday!

Susan – Nice humid miles. I had to walk some myself today. Ugh..just too hot to breath out there. I am sure your weather is worse than mine, though. OMG that milkshake looks SO. GOOD. We have a place like that up the street. I have been dying to try it out..my stomach will HATE. ME. If I did though 😊

CC – Nice 4mi run/walk! I was not signed up for the 10K. I ran that race 2x and that was it – the crowds I just can’t deal with. I didn’t realize they were allowing you to put your registration towards the marathon! I don’t think the marathon will happen – do you? I am sure if the marathon happened they would not do pizza at the end which is my reason for running it 😊. Kidding…maybe 😊. My HCDH LOVVESSS thai food!! Which place did you go to?

Karen – I am sorry, had to laugh at DH. I can picture him just talking away and you like “ok, uh huh, ok”. LOL. GREAT news on the group. That’s a great idea. I had to sign one when I was doing MTT.

Cathy – You are just a machine!! Awesome run this morning. OMG…you are for sure having some man drama. Sounds like TRB is jealous of TF. Is this the one that is happily married? I can’t remember. You have many men in your life – which is pretty awesome 😊. I have to agree about the later sunrise – not too comfortable running in the dark in my area just yet. I guess I have no other choice. So nice of DD to say you need your teeth fixed! LOL. I have heard that teeth tend to go back to what they were before braces/retainers as you get older. I know mine have. I am not sure if I would do braces again, though. But you are right – it would be easier now that we are WFH. Good luck with the men! Hehe.

Lori – Great news on the shift change!!!

Kathryn – Wow, that is a big change with the package! Hopefully they listen to your concerns. I am sure you are not the only one. Has it really been 4 years since your previous relationship? Doesn’t feel like that long ago. BTW – Your hair always looks fab as well. 😊

Judy – Ugh, hate it when I can’t sleep! Hopefully you get better sleep tonight! Nice running – of course! 😊

Laura – Walking is better than nothing! I try to get HCDH to walk. I hardly ever walk Ruger anymore – I have HCDH do it for at least some sort of exercise. We take family walks on the weekends and evenings if we can. He has been better about the gym lately, though! BUMMER on the dogs haircuts getting cancelled!!

Talk with you ladies later! My dentist was able to fit me in this afternoon at 3! Have a good afternoon!

                  Half Crazy K 2.0

Trying to decide if I want to take a short run. We had a small storm that just parked over our area for the last hour or so and I can still hear a little thunder. Tiny little dot on radar. Sucks, we do not need rain--the squash & cucumber in my garden are "stressed" from too much rain. And now DH and I are stressed too. He went to a practice last night (masks were worn at least). A guy just told the head of the group that his dad, who he spent time in a car with, tested positive for covid. WTF was he doing going to a social meeting while waiting for his dad's test? I assume we're supposed to assume the guy is also positive? IDK.

                    CrazySue, those milkshakes look amazing!

                    Tessa

Really late to the party but here. I couldn't get on before. Packed fast to head up to DD's and realized in Oregon that I forgot the charging cord for my laptop. DS expressed it to DD's address. So now I am an empowered woman again...

HCK, ugh on the non-working fridge. Hope DH understands that you need one!

Kat, embrace the silver. I am. DD's current roommate was complimentary of my silver streaks.

At DD's. I made it in 2 days. I did get 10.5 on Saturday on what is normally the Bloomsday course. Someday I will do that race.

Running. Also working and painting DD's kitchen. I truly hate painting.
