Paced my dear friend Ley to a 6th place age group finish in her 1st and only marathon. Her and her kids are raising funds for an orphanage in Zambia called "Kyles House" (kyleshouse.org) in memory of her husband.
One of the greatest athletic days of my life!
We were supposed to run the Dallas Marathon, but it got iced out, so we found another race for the same day, and drove 200 miles to race in 30 degree temperature with some minor freezing rain.
She's a Rock Star!
