COLD!!! 36 degrees at mile 41.

Stopped at mile 41 to warm up and thaw out my toes and fingers. Rested for about 30 minutes and ate peanut butter sandwiches that I packed so that I could use the sandwich baggies to cover my toes.

WOW!!!

Next time, wait for the afternoon or wait for another weekend to try to get a 100 mile ride in.

I was planning on 6 hour ride, but changed plan a mile or two before the rest stop....
