Notes
2nd (Silver), age grade 82.96. Frank Condon, top seed, took lead and immediately slowed the pace. Was boxed in, so had to swing wide to pass Carl and Lou, then Frank. First 200 in about 47, 400 about 92 (slower than 3000 pace). Tried to get the pace quicker, but went thru 800 at ~ 3:00. Can't remember splits, but 2nd half was ~ 2:49. Held off 3rd place guy, John Brittain, by about 7 sec. Carl got 4th, Lou 5th.
