I went out too fast. The later miles were a struggle to keep the group in sight. My after-shower weight was 153.5, so dehydration could have been part of it. 60's felt good but I still sweated up a storm. I wore my HR strap; most of the time I didn't exceed 135 bpm, but I got to 145 at the end. I had eaten a high-protein breakfast--I wonder if more carbs would have served me better (I had a GU at mile 10).
