Time to get back into it, and my knee is feeling good enough to do so. It still bothers me a little after sitting for a long time or walking. I taped my left foot (mild PF or bump at back of arch). I got the second machine from the end in the front row (don't know how that compares to what was the fastest machine, on the end,, which has now been replaced). After 1.3 M WU I was up to 130 bpm so I started my 7:30 m/M pace. AHR 141, 152 bpm for the 2 tempo miles, then 1.7 M CD. It seems like something has gotten me more out of shape. Is it lack of tempo runs? Lack of long runs? A day later, I had no ill effects from the tempo runs, so I'll continue them. If nagging injuries continue, I'll probably avoid long runs, so maybe I'll have data. Ther is an ultra in CA in April, though, so I don't kno wif I can avoid long runs. Ha.
